You will need a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID. Accepted forms include a state driver's license or ID card, U.S. passport, or military ID. Expired IDs cannot be accepted under Washington state law.
Bring all documents that need to be notarized. If you are unsure whether your documents are ready, contact us beforehand and we can advise. Do not sign anything before the notary arrives.
Every person who needs to sign must be physically present at the appointment (or connected via video for remote online notarization). We cannot notarize documents that were signed in advance.
You should understand what you are signing. The notary verifies identity and willingness but cannot provide legal advice. If you have questions about the content, consult an attorney first.
You paid securely at booking — nothing more due at the appointment. Need a refund? See our cancellation policy.
A standard notarization takes about 15 minutes. Larger document packages may take longer. We will give you a time estimate when you book.
